About the Role
The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver therapy services and support students in achieving their individualized communication goals. The ideal candidate is dedicated, organized, and enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect therapy to K12 students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans under SLP supervision.

Conduct screenings and collect data to measure student progress.

Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and staff to promote communication success across settings.

Maintain thorough, compliant documentation of all services provided.

Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as required by the district.
Qualifications

Active Indiana SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain before the school year).

Associates degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field.

Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred but not required.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
